I had decided to follow ,in close proximity, the movement of the fishing community. I wanted to have a better understanding of how they worked together and what their relationship to the water was like. In the distance as we approached on a dingy boat, there was a moment of stillness. Far removed from the action we were about to witness. A contrast to what lay ahead. It accompanied the feeling that I felt when I was in Kavieng. I sense of peace and stillness. That is what water carries at times.
